Our history

Opened on April 9, 2021, GagaKiki is Kalsang and Sonam Pekang's first restaurant. Kalsang previously worked as a shift manager in the catering industry for 20 years, including 7 years in a sushi restaurant.

The couple's goal is to run their business in a customer-oriented manner with a focus on fresh goods and high quality products.

The hosts of GagaKiki

Kalsang Tsering Pekang

Kalsang is the owner of Gaga Kiki. 
Through his 20 years of experience in the catering industry, including 7 years specifically in a sushi restaurant, he has built up a lot of expertise. His goal is to create a high-quality and professional experience for guests.
Together with his wife, they value fresh goods and incomparable quality.

Sonam Dolma Pekang

Sonam began her professional career as a trained health professional.  
After a 2-year sushi master course with a Japanese master, the new path was clear to her. During her training, she learned to create authentic and puristic sushi like that found in Japan. The focus is on the taste of the individual ingredients. 
Gaga Kiki's sushi is therefore simple and impresses with its simplicity.
